Creating your own custom calendars is fun. And it opens the door to infinite design possibilities. But printing your custom calendars in the 11x14 poster size either via Shutterfly or at a local Kinkos or Alpha Graphics is a bit expensive. Shutterfly typically costs a bit over $100 per calendar set.
A less expensive alternative is to make your custom calendar sets in the 8x10 size. Then you can print your own calendars using your own printer. MCS acrylic box frames are available in the 8x10 size. Or you could also use regular picture frames to display them.
The effect of an 8x10 wall calendar set will not be quite as robust as the 11x14 size. But it may be satisfactory to you, and it is certainly cheaper just to print out your own calendars! You can always try printing out some sample calendars in that size and taping them to the wall to get an idea of how an 8x10 set will look.
